Time for me to move. It wasn't so long ago that I took a hand in liberating Iraq. We conqured that country, toppled a regime, and established order. The people of that country would always be coming up to me and my brothers to thank us for helping them. Then, we handed control over to others and moved on. Now, I see that the occupational forces we turned the country over to are not up to the job. Something must be done, and it's my move. I will travel back to Iraq to do my part. I don't have all the details worked out yet, but I will post the ones I can when I get them. Check back and keep posted.

Behold! I stand with both feet on the ground and then I walk. I do not react to the garbase the world throws my way. I am in this world, but not of it. When I choose, I move, and the world may react as it will. I stand here now in charge of my life and how I handle it. There are no limits, there are no boundaries. Stand clear, for I am about to move again. -Squegie

I'm considering opening up the ability for other people to rant or "blog" on this site. If anyone is interested in doing so, or would like to see it done, email me. I'm still mulling it over.

Yes, I'm back, and the website is back. It has been back for a while, in a mutilated form. Check it out: temporary site.

Well, amazing as it all seems, the old system is starting to come together, better than ever perhaps?

For the last three years, I have been training with the United States Marine Core, and now I have been called to put that training to use. For security reasons, I can't tell you exactly where I'm going, and how long I'll be there, but I will be gone, and most likeley unable to get to my email. For those of you that want to contact me, try to call the store first (866-470-TECH). They can pass along any contact information that they might have.
I will see you all when I return, so have a great time!

In February 1999, a team of researchers from Harvard University led by Lene Vestergaard Hau used the BEC to slow light—which normally travels at 186,000 miles per second—to just 38 miles per hour by shining a laser light through the condensate. In 2001, Hau's team announced that it had briefly brought a light beam to a complete stop.

It's 11am.. the phone rings. Being a considerate person, I answer the phone.
me: Hello?
her: Hey it's me. Did I talk to you last night?
me: (Thinks back a bit) Yes, yes we did.
her: Oh, ok. I wasn't sure, I don't really remember much of anything last night.
me: Oh really? I remember every word (what did we talk about anyways?)
We go back and forth a bit like this, ending up with me revealing that we had worked out some wedding plans and were going to get married sometime within the next two weeks.
her: Ok, well I'll see you Friday then.
me: (knowing full well that we have drill on Friday) Friday? What are you doing Friday?
her: You!, hopefully.
me: Oh. Well of course. See you then.
Happy New Years. (Oh and I hope you had a Merry Xmas).
Cheerios,
